The 4th International Junior Golf MENPORA-PAGI Emeralda Championship 2024 is an annual international golf tournament promoted by the Indonesian Golf Academy (PAGI) and is supported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Republic Indonesia (MENPORA) since 2018.

SportExcel had sent two (2) junior athletes to participate in this tournament (Afif Jazimin and Izzul Irfan) and their tournament entrance fees, four (4) nights accommodation, return airport-hotel transfer, return hotel-golf course transfer and half-board daily meals throughout the tournament were sponsored by the organizer.

Indra Surya, President of the Indonesian Golf Academy Association (PAGI), stated that PAGI and Emeralda have regularly organised golf tournaments to encourage the growth of junior golf. Gonthor R. Aziz, the Committee Chairman, thanked the sponsors, athletes, and their parents for making this event a success. “Over the course of three days, we saw how determined young golfers were to compete. Their sportsmanship can serve as an example for other golfers. They demonstrated how to lose with dignity and win with grace. We regard you not just as young players but also as potential professionals who, hopefully, will soon compete on the PGA Tour,” Gonthor stated.

Gemilau Joanne Kurnia from Indonesia clinched the Best Gross overall title in the Women’s division scored 73-73-75 (221) or +5, while in the Men’s division Harman Sachdeva of India scored the lowest score of 68-73-70 (211) or -5.
